I was following this thread to see if any comments on it. And Wow! That's very generous of you Mike. As someone recovering from knee surgery I'm awaiting the review. No pressure at all Mitch
I got an email the other day to say the book has been sent and should be with me in a couple of weeks Thanks again Mike Mitch
You need to substatiate that statement. When Mike kindly offered to send Mitch a book I contacted Mike's people through his website to make sure it was him, not someone pretending to be him. Within the hour I had got an e-mail back confirming that Mike was indeed genuine. Since then Mitch has made contact, been promised a copy of the book and got it faster than promised. Seems pretty legitimate to me.
Mike's site is very legitimate and he is very well respected with fitness and rehab circles. I've ordered stuff from him before and it arrived promptly and without any problems whatsoever.
Nothing wrong with a healthy bit of skepticism, the mod team did the same thing! I have noticed this style of presentation several times for fitness products, I'm fairly sure it's just a commercial website template though the quality of content is often wildly different. Sadly with a lot more crap out there than decent information it's easy to get biased when you see it.
Great to hear Mitch! Good luck and let me know how it works out for you. And to everyone else, thanks for the warm welcome - much appreciated! Best MR
I am subscribing to this post as I just had my second knee surgery...Have had one one each knee now within a year of each other... Would love to hear your review of the material "Bulletproof knees" I am thinking of buying the material but again, $100 seems like quite a bit for a book... Keep us posted Mitch, cause it's been two weeks since my last surgery and I am now in rehab mode...:bang: (couldn't find an icon for waiting)
To the OP, I didn't read through the whole thread, but maybe you find this youtube channel useful. Its got a lot of good info on correcting and rehabbing various issues, including knees, hips etc: http://www.youtube.com/user/sanfranciscocrossfit/
Thoughts so far are good with slight confusion on terminology for my tiny brain. I'm not having as much time this week as the kids are at home on holiday and a lot of my time is devoted to tickling. Mitch
