What exactly is ment by that? I think I might understand but care to elaborate? I really know very little about the different styles but there is a Goju Ryu school 7 minutes from my house that I am looking to possibly join for my first MA. When I talked to the guy that runs it, Anthony Haliwell, he said his training program was very 'traditional' which is why this comment caught my eye. The only BIG downside is he only offers 2 adult classes per week and one day of sparring as far as I can tell but I haven't been able to meet with him yet in person.
