Hi... I am trying to get educated on the various systems and one would go about becoming a recognized/authorized/accredited instructor of a particular system. I live in Ottawa, Canada and am aware of the CAN-RYU system. I am wondering if this is recognized and what other system this was based on. There are at least two really good dojo's here, however our selection is limited. Thank you for any insight you can provide.
Is this them? The striking is absolutely abysmal! I would personally avoid, but your mileage may vary
Bloody hell!!! This is godawful!!! [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_PVLYSCfAQ"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_PVLYSCfAQ[/ame] No base, posture, mechanics and what the hell was that knife defence about????
Haven't heard of them and I've certainly seen worse videos but I would expect more from someone calling themselves a 5th Dan. Have to say that for a yellow belt the uke used for some of that first video was pretty good.
can-ryu link Yes, i think pacific is one of the members of this union. http://www.canadianjjunion.com/home.html is the link Thanks again...
