Im moving out to London from California around the fall, ive been trying to find xingyi sifus, and students. But I keep coming up short. I know there a couple of guys out there that can teach, but xingyi is not what they are about.

I need to find out where and who to study under that acctualy has a martial focus of Xingyi, and the three internals.

Ive trained with my sifu for years in the park not paying a dime cause he says you shouldent have to pay for this and it takes away from the sacredness. I have had a camp of brothers that are martialy focused and far from your typical wet noodle practitioners. Ive enjoyed the time but life is leading me to London now.

So this is just another attempt on the internet to find a Sifu, a brother or anyone...

I was in london for the whole summer and came up short

    Any leads????

    Can anyone help????

I know there has to be a group or couple guys that are really on it and train in the parks in london. So if anyone can help link me up with some people, cause Ifeel like my life is ruined.

    Thanx

Also try Tai Chi Finder they have some schools on there but it won't be free!

As awesome as that is, don't expect to find the same deal. If you want to learn a language, you typically pay your instructor. If you want to learn the piano, you pay your instructor. If you get an athletic personal trainer, you train him or her. Most martial arts instructors, including many of the good ones, charge for your services. It's great that you found someone for free, but don't look for new schools with the attitude that anywhere that isn't free is a scam.

As for specific teachers or schools in London, sorry, can't help.

I think Alex Kozma just moved away from London again.

As suggested, try www.taichifinder.co.uk - but don't expect to find any freebies on there.

When you arrive, take a trip to Holland Park - as I remember, there used to be a fair number of martial artists practicing there throughout the day.

I train in a park regularly with a hsingi guy.. He's currently a student of Sifu Paul Whitrod. Now possibly Mr. Whitrod is one of those guys you talk about who isn't all about the hsingi and that would be true I guess.

But if I were you I wouldn't write the opportunity to try him out before you even arrive. I don't think there may be many more people around, and I'll be surprised if there's many with the level of kung fu and knowledge of Sifu Paul Whitrod.

I think the guys at palmchange also study the TST hsingi stuff along withth their bagua, so you might get some joy there.

keep looking and you could try the rumsoakedfist forum.

This group also have hsingi, and they have a few guys around London, not sure if any of them specialise in hsingi though.

Also when you're in town you are welcome to join myself and my training partner for a session, he doesn't post here, but I'm sure he'll know more than me about the hsingi available in town.

    regards
