Noticed that Shorinji style Karate is kind of rare, where I live. Any of you heard of this style, or partake in it?
The most widespread use of the word "Shorinji" is associated with Shorinji Kempo. It is one of the most populated martial arts groups in Japan with thousands of members - so I would have come to same conclusion as komuso. That said, the word "Shorinji" in this context simply means "Shaolin Temple" so there are a multitude of arts that could bear that name. Does your group have a website? Gary
