about the pain after stretching day

    hey guys

    i am stretching 3 days per week in taekwondo class , during class i push myself really hard till my pain limit and next day i feel lots of pain on my legs ( fibers or whatever its called i dont know ).

    the question is : should i rest the next day of class to let my legs to heal ( cause i try to stretch ) or i just keep stretching till my pain limit again.

    Don't stretch to your pain limit.

    Strenuous stretching (to the point just before your pain threshold) should have as many days rest in between workouts as needed until you don't feel sore. But, really, relaxed stretching doesn't require you to push it that far (the clue is in the name). It gets uncomfortable, yes. But you're probably making your flexibility worse doing what you're doing.
