By accident, I installed WinXP to a harddrive of mine which is very small. I have almost no leftover space and is therefore unable to install updates/patches to winXp. When trying to move my WinXP folder, it tells me "no way buster!" Is there any safe way I can move this folder without making my computer explode? Copying it to my larger drive and deleting the former Windows folder? Or do I really have to reinstall WinXp to the larger hard disk?
Off the top of my head ...... 'Ghost/Clone' the small disk to the large one. Make the large disk the master. Reboot. Cross-fingers and "hey presto!" (I'll have more of a think as see if I can come up with anything else)
I'm lazy, and that would also mean I had to reinstall all the addon programs from a gazillion disks Thanks guys. Fresh install of WinXp commencing, just in case...
