my brother teacher asked me to ask this forum:

    1) how old are the fma'ers here?

    2) how long have you been doing fma?

In our system, we don't count the 'years'. Because it's not the number of years. It's the number of hours of training.

    I'm almost 30.

Been involved for the Martial Arts for just over 11 years. I've been in and out of Kali for about six of those years (Inasanto Blend and Pekiti Tersia). Currently I'm not practicing Kali on a regular basis however. But it's always close to the surface (I just don't have the calluses to back it up right now).

    1. I'm almost 29 years old.

    2. Been into "Escrima" with my twin bro since we were 5 years old, we sparred/trained with a minimum frequency of three sessions a week, a minimum of an hour each session; later, we sparred with friends or classmates. Training skeds have gone haywire since college and we now live in different provinces, so we only spar about once or twice a month now.

A very, very old (about 20 seconds ago) FMA proverb:

"Thou shalt not call an FMAer 'kuya'...

    ... call them 'manong' instead."

    Joke3x.

P.S. C'mon, sige na. Some one please tell me the difference between  and :D. I might be offending some people here unwittingly.
