I don't know exactly how it happened, but somehow my friend Greg Dilley was killed scuba diving Tuesday. Greg was a great guy, a 9th dan in the Bujinkan, an ordained Nichiren buddhist minister, and a very supportive, optimistic friend. He took me to this bay once, near Salinas, and I saw sea otters for the first time in the wild. He has two beautiful daughters and a very nice wife. I am devastated by this.
That is absolutly heart breaking! My heart goes out to his family and friends... This is very shocking news. I wish all that loved him strength and understanding in this time of change and loss. To Greg, Namu Myoho Renge Kyo... To the rest of us, Greg is telling us all something right now, life is a jewel, live each second fully. In humble gassho...
Hello Danny, I'm so sorry to hear of Greg's passing. I often saw him at Daikomyosai over the last few years. Regrettably i never got the chance to speak to him. I'm sure i speak for many in the Bujinkan, when i say that his presence will be greatly missed. Please pass on my condolences to his family. Baldrick www.bujinkansevenoaksdojo.org
Hi This is sad news Greg and I were exchanging emails on Monday while I was in Japan. I arrived home on Tuesday to find a dojo t-shirt from him at my home waiting for me. Great guy and I will miss him
