It's a low rank, we start with 9th kyu, now I have three green stripes on my white belt. For us it means you have the basic strikes and parry/blocks down, and the first two wrist locks with take downs. The next rank will be green belt where you really start to put things together and the focus begins to switch to performing under more pressure.
