After the "success" of the RWC version, and as the RBS 6 Nations (that's a rugby tournament for all fooseball fans) starts in a week and a half, how about we give Six Nations Fantasy Rugby a go? http://espnscrum.fantasyleague.com/FriendsLeague.aspx?p=3381 MAP League PIN: 3381
had no idea you can play fantasy rugby. really cool though. how is scoring conducted? as a former player, i absolutely love rugby. it's just so hard to watch matches, even world cup matches, in the states.
Scoring is like this - each player gets: 3pts for a Full Appearance (player starts and finishes the game) 2pts for a Full Appearance (player starts and finishes the game) 1pt for a Substitute Appearance (player comes on as a substitute) 5pts for a Try 3 pts for an assist (last pass or kick to the try scorer - so long as it creates the try scoring opportunity) 1pt for a penalty/conversion (designated kicker only) 1pt for a drop goal -1pt for a yellow card -2pts for a red card 5pts for man of the match
And then there were three. The 6 Nations starts tomorrow with France vs Italy at 2:30 then Scotland vs England at 5pm, with Ireland vs Wales at 3pm Sunday. By the sounds of the weather forcast, the players might end up throwing snowballs at each other!
Well I've been forced into my first change after Dan Parks retired from internationals. Looks like Sexton is going to be Ireland's first choice though.
