I have almost the same pics as you, except I pick Amir over C.B. Why? Because C.B. gases, and unless he has worked really hard on that, I don't see him beating Amir.

Sweet! I was rooting for Amir as well. Like his temperament. Just found it this morning that he's a local guy. (I'm in Northern Virginia, but my family's in Richmond.) Love that guy.

I thought there was some killer fights that night. Sanchez looked in good form, a little pensive maybe but I liked it

i love how the show made Amir look like an unconfident, inexperienced... long shot. He was predicted to lose EACH fight (except for the final which had a lot of people thinking Amir was going to take it).

Someone posted on bullshido (i lurk) that at amir's school there are tons of pictures of Amir finishing fights with triangles.

Also CB gave an interview that was posted on Bullshido, in which he says it was a shame that the show made him look arrogant and full of himself because he is not. I don't know what to think.

But i do love Amir. I'm hard to impress, and he did it.

Mushroom De-powered to come back better than before.

I felt Amir was a real dark horse in the series.

Here the show and the interviews show Amir of mainly a striker...and he finishes most of his fights with a submission.

An excellent fight.. was CB complaining that he didnt tap? cos it was quite obvious he did so

I think CB didnt even mean to tap, maybe it was just an instinct that once hes in an armbar its instinct to automaatically tap, because i think one could get out of that kind of armbar a little easier. so he was probably just surprised at himself or something like that

CB said that he tapped once, kinda instinctively and right when he did he felt his arm come loose, but it was too late. I guess he was just upset/frustrated with the whole deal at the end.
