Paul Vunak used to run an ad for his Progressive Fighting System that listed all the 26 "core arts" of JKD, but I haven't been able to find it.

 

I don't know about you, but if I was competent in the first 12 I doubt I'd need another 14.

Obviously Bruce used wing chun as a base and incorporated the best most effective techniques and concepts from these styles

i have to say i cannot see all twenty six in there. but i can see some things, timing or broken rythem of drunken gung fu. mantis. kali. bits of judo,wrestling and ju jitsu.
the eagle claw grip,he build his forarms like there's. the kicks from northern chinese arts.

i think its a case of they looked into some of these arts as research

 

what about judo? Jesse Glover? taekwondo? Jhoon Rhee? Tang Soo Do? Hapkido? Hung Gar? sambo? savate? shotokan? aikido? kendo? he looked into all of these plus more!

and what 5 animal styles is it? Lau Gar? Shaolin? Hung Gar?

 

what is law horn kuen, what is ng ga kuen, what is bok pai?

from what i can see dan listed about 12 arts. and says look took bits from most.

The Art & Philosophy of Jeet Kune Do

With Wing Chun at the core of his system, Bruce Lee incorporated a modification of various techniques from Northern Praying Mantis, Southern Praying Mantis, Choy Li Fut, Eagle Claw, Western Boxing, Wrestling, Fencing, Judo, Jiu Jitsu, and some of the more refined kicks of the Northern & Southern Chinese styles. Emphasizing the "ranges of combat". Students are taught to confidently and with ease "flow" from long distance,"kicking- range", to middle distance, "hand- range", to close quarter, "trapping & grappling range".

The movements are crisp, and efficient, utilizing the most direct lines and angles. JKD affords the practitioner a means by which to effectively pursue the most direct line of attack. And once an attack has been launched there are no breaks or interruptions.
