bit of a wide area there dude The b@stard sword was still (just) in use, the (for want of a better term) sword-rapier was just about to arrive at the end of the century, the side/back sword was in full use. It was a period of flux in weapons. The full version of Meyer has a great deal of info on weapons in use in 1570. Di Grassi is another good master from 1570 and George Silver is from 1599
