Thanks for getting back to me. Obviously I haven't been on in a bit either... I ended up signing on. So far it's okay, though sometimes the black belts who teach the classes contradict each other which is frustrating. I don't have too much of a problem with the traditional aspects, though there is a lot of bowing. There doesn't seem to be as much meditation as mentioned in your post and others, but it's only been my first two months. Thanks again for getting back to me.
Hey, I stumbled across your post about training with GM Song in North Hollywood and wanted to pick your brain about the experience. I've been to one class and have two more trial classes to go and your words really hit home about elements I'm worried about that studio. Would you be willing to get on the phone to talk to me about it in the next few days? I practice TKD and am interested practicing HKD so would appreciate your advice
