It was pretty, but the when you put on plates and have an active oppents it just does not look that it is the Difference between kung fu theater and MMA
It was a demonstration, not a sparring match. It had to be done at less than full speed for safety reasons and so people can see what's going on, and how the technique is done. Against a fully resisting opponent, nothing ever looks that pretty. I assume by plates you mean armour. Keep in mind that most of these techniques are for unarmoured fighting. Best regards, -Mark
