What TV series are you watching?

Walking Dead has been poor for years IMO. The series just doesn't go anywhere, it shambles along like the zombies on the show. Annoyingly predictable too.

I didn't think the new Season was too bad to be honest.

The Arrow and Flash crossovers this week were pretty fun to watch.

Agents of Shield is just getting better and better too.

Arrow, The Flash, Impractical Jokers, Hannibal (Season 2).

Arrow - like most of us I've been following it since the first season and episode and despite my initial reservations, I'm thoroughly enjoying it. Good fight choreography, awesome bow & arrow play, surprisingly interesting (if not terribly difficult to follow) plot and my personal (no so) secret shame of watching Oliver Queen doing pretty much any kind of training.

The Flash - To be honest it's a much weaker version of Arrow but different enough I'm still interested in what's happening. Not enjoying this one as much but I can't help but watch the episodes as they come up to see what happens next.

Hannibal Season 2 I've literally started watching last night. Adored season 1 and have very high hopes for season 2.

Impractical Jokers is the first show I have seen in years that literally has me in tears laughing most of the way through. It's so ridiculous and childish and yet at the same it is just utterly brilliant. Ultimate cure for the grumps. :D

Yeah, it was better than previous seasons but I wouldn't say it was good. Some of the earlier seasons were utter snore fests. I think I am just so bored with Rick Grimes mumbling through his lines, but then the script is hardly worth worrying about. Sometimes I am not sure if I've missed an episode and Rick has turned.

I think I only watch it these days for Carol, who imo is the only interesting character in the show.

I wish that annoying kid would get devoured! :D

Have any of you lot watched The Strain? Any opinions on it?

I watched the first episode last night and have very mixed feelings about it, wonder if I should stick with it. The story seems ok, but the script makes me cringe. I wonder if Apple are throwing them a dollar or two...the product placement is painfully obvious and annoying.

    Trailer park Boys.

Was searching through Netflix the other night and came across some cover art depicting a small man wearing thick rimmed bottle bottomed black glasses. I immediately recognized the dude as our very own Belltoller and I am ashamed to admit I thought the pic used by Belltoller was in fact the man himself. So in a roundabout and inadvertent way Belltoller introduced me to probably the best series I have seen since Game Of thrones – Thank you sir!

8 seasons on netfilx, i'm on season 5. Can't stop watching.

What a coincidence! I also started Trailer Park Boys some days ago, because Belltoller's avatar picked my interest!
Also another member here, Harry, has a pic of Lahey for his avatar. :p

I figured that it would be a cool show and indeed is. Especially the 1st season!
First time I laugh so much by watching a TV show.
I am in 3rd season now. Still enjoyable, but now that I got familiar with the characters I am not laughing as much.

And yeah, Bubbles rocks! Ricky too.

Yeah Bubbles is cool, watched an episode when he tried to keep a mountain lion. I like Ricky and Cyrus too, they're both idiots lol.

I don't remember that one. I watched it years ago and tried to watch it again recently right from the first episode but couldn't get into it...maybe I should watch some of the newer ones as I haven't seen them.

Yeah the mount lion got addicted to weed eating all their plants, Bubbles said "it's just a big kitty" - he had a leash for it n everything, was so funny.

I just watched the first episode of Marco Polo on NetFlix. My girlfriend fell asleep after about 20 mins...and after about 10 more minutes I did too. :)

The critics on Rotten Tomatoes gave it 15%! As one of the critics said, it doesn't seem to know whether it wants to be a fun action show or a serious historical drama so tries t be both and fails miserably.

There's obviously a lot of money gone into the show and the sets, locations and costumes look great. Sadly that's all it has going for it. I'll give it a few more episodes, one critic says it picks up, and see how it goes.

Was holding fire on this one, partly because I wanted to hear peoples thoughts on it, to get a general vibe, before committing, but mostly because I wanted to wait until I had a few episodes back logged, to 'Binge watch' my way thru - So far, the reviews coming in have erred strongly on the negative side...

Agents of Shield and Flash have stepped up. Think Arrow is running a little thin.

    Now on episode 5.

I really don't know where to begin with this. It does get better, the first episode was a wreck, but I wouldn't say it's good and is not even close to GoT, which Marco Polo Netflix hoped would rival.

It's very confused; one minute you have all this political intrigue, discussions over trade routes, silk worm smuggling and what not...the next you have Marco Polo learning kung fu off a blind MA master called Hundred Eyes and a whole bunch of pseudo-philosophy and "My mantis fist can beat your tiger claw" type garbage. Is it supposed to be a historical drama or an action series? I have no clue.

The series would have been better if they just dropped the whole Polo thing and made an epic historical drama about the Mongols or Kublai. I mean really...who cares about Marco Polo? But hordes of Mongols charging across the Steppes beheading people...? That's good entertainment. :)

Everything around Polo seems silly and poorly done, everything that is more concerned with the Mongols is watchable (but not awesome). I sometimes feel that two separate production teams with no communication or idea that the other group existed went off to make two shows and then they threw it all together.

One of the biggest problems I have with the series is that I really can't understand what half of them are saying. The characters speak in accents to make them sound authentic and help you identify their nationality, but some of the accents are so thick it is impossible to understand them at times. On top of that, there's no consistency, you'll have a Chinese person speaking in a Chinese accent (really?) to another Chinese person who sounds like they are a skater from California...or spent a few years in a public school in the UK.

I could go on...but I want to see episode 5 as I believe the Hashashin are in this one. They should make a series about those guys, they were cool too...much better than their Japanese equivalents!

The annoying thing is that the show has a ton of potential and is beautifully shot with stunning sets, costumes and what not. Shame they just couldn't sort out what the whole point to the series is...and get s decent script and actors!

I couldn't sleep so I watched a random episode of this much hyped retelling of Batman's origin story.

    God it sucked.

It's full of child actors who can't act. The villains are camp. It's so frigging dark that I could hardly see what I was watching. The action choreography is downright awful - the stage combat itself is utter crap (some female assassin tried doing a 360° hook kick but looked like she was slipping on ice) and the DP doesn't know how to shoot fight scenes. The dialogue is really, really bad.

How does anyone stomach this garbage?

L O V E Grimm - Even during the odd mediocre episode, Munroe will have his usual moments of genius, and carry the episode through.

Munroe is probably my favourite on the show, I think my favourite part with him was the zealous celebrations of christmas and halloween. Love his style
