it means that all your opinions are only black and white.
But that's not how the world works.
The world works in the grey areas, as mostly nothing is ever black or white.

NK as an example: The people don't have much choice in their political views.
Black: They are fans of Kim.
    White: They must hate him.
Grey: Neither, nore. They can't do much about it and have to make the best out of their lives.
    Lighter grey: Other points.
    Darker grey: Other points.
    Even darker grey: Other points.
    Even lighter grey: Other points.
Another shade of grey: Even more other points.

I dont specfically know how the rebels became a country, i know they became one and then the war started but i dont know know specifically how. I also know they where loosing the war until the West got too close to the Chinese border then the Chinese army managed to ambush 3(?) divisions and that pushed the borders to how we know them today. Cant tell you how that war was fought that well either. Havent got around to nor been bothered to look into it. I can give a rough guide and guess aproximately as to wht happened, but dont ask for battle names or operations. I kind of skipped the Korean war.

I would probbly do a better job than most people. :p

I dont think it was glorifying that, i put that quote in a joking manner. Its accurate somewhat to good military policy, military age is anyone who can hold a weapon. I haven't seen the film fully i dont think, always the boot camp bit never the rest.

Needless to say i shivered at the sight of that. :p

Might help if you used my dialects spelling. :p Also i wouldnt i have no idea what tags people use now days.

Rataca100, you have you history incredibly mixed up,
Korea was rescued from the Japanese at the end of WW2, the USSR setup north Korea, the US set up south Korea, (like Germany east and west) and then afterwards the North invaded the south to unify the country under one government.

If your going to discus things, either put the time in the read around it, or at the very least, don't perpetuate ignorance.

Not during the Korean war, perhaps during World War 2, I'd have to check.

This is why you should only post about what you know, or at least be open to being wrong.

I wasnt speculating it was part of the Korean war, it was in between Korean and WW2, like the transitiona government of Korea.

So again, you state "facts" and some ideas about something you don't know anything about.

    No.

At the end of WW2 the Japanese were defeated in Korea. So they won't of been there to fight with anyone.

I even posted the wiki link.

    Sorry, your bad again.
That's over 1500 wounded. While still a terrible number, it is quite a bit different than 15000. :)

You had a typo there, I fixed that for you ... :)

    Outside of mass shootings

"In 2013, there were 73,505 nonfatal firearm injuries (23.2 injuries per 100,000 U.S. citizens),[2][3] and 33,636 deaths due to "injury by firearms" (10.6 deaths per 100,000 U.S. citizens)"

Which is still a fair few....

To put that into perspective, I used nukemap at this site: "NUKEMAP by Alex Wellerstein" to calculate how many people would die, should North Korea use a nuclear weapon in Seoul. I entered the lowest predicted yield (from China) for NK's most recent nuclear test of 108 kilotons. This detonation left 177,000 dead and some 443,000 injured. NORSAR believes it was a 250 kiloton bomb, and using that data I got 295,000 dead and 853,000 injured. :[

Oh weird, I didn't realize it but airbursts kill a lot more people than surface detonations. If we go with an airburst, a 108 kiloton nuclear detonation leaves 379,000 dead and 1.7 million injured. A 250 kt weapon will kill 717,000 and injure 2.85 million. Horrifying stuff.

Note: I'm liking the posts due to the use of stats here, I'm not liking the fact so many people will be killed.

Wellerstein has some cool stuff. Check out: "MISSILEMAP by Alex Wellerstein" and the range on the Hwasong-14.

Fun thing, nuclear bombs spread a lot of radiation if you bury them, why they discontinued testing them for mining charges. :p It worked pretty well if you wnated a hole.

They also spread radiation wherever you use them.

So your point is, Nuclear bombs are bad?
