How old do you reckon Billy Robinson is these days? Man... what a gold mine of information trainin' with a guy like that. So much stuff you just don't see anywhere!!!

 

Billy is 73.

I spent some time talking with Jake over the weekend and I am organising a private seminar/camp with Billy for me and a few others. It will be money well spent!

If all goes according to plan I will be in India partaking in a Kushti wrestling camp in the fall of 2014 too!

 

Ok STOPPPPPPPPPPPPPP..... I just got done getting smashed in BJJ tonight... and I'm at home fantasizing about Billy Robinson's training camp... if I get started in on Kushti I'll never get my head down tonight!

Yep! That's what I will be doing!

I have always "dabbled" in Catch over the years, but never studied consistently. This is something I really want to sink my teeth into and bring to the Frozen North - Wrestling is a religion in Calgary anyway so might as well make it the good stuff!!!!

it's hard as hell to find any clubs teaching malla yuddha and indian sub wrestling. most have taken olympic rules (e.g. guru hanuman training centre in delhi)

Billy is in his 70's i think and still build like a brick outhouse with the strongest grip me and my coach have ever felt

if you cant train directly with him try getting roli to your classes, he is a BJJ blackbelt and hosts billy at his gym week in and week out, and whilst he is no billy he is probably the next best thing
