    Iron Fis,
That is not the site of my posting.

This group will not allow to cite my own site so I will not give any others. Find it yourself. I already cited the publishers, which is up to any standards of reference for library and legal matters.
It was University of Rochester Medical Center.
Do not demand I do your homework for you.

Burden of proof is with the claimant so you need to cite sources in these cases - just a heads up

Mod note: Jadedragonalask - Just a friendly clarification.

It isn't that you can't post a link to cite your source. It is that you can't post ONLY links back to your website. When you do that, it becomes more using this site to direct traffic to your own website. This becomes free advertising and is what is not allowed.

This is why we asked you (and thanks for complying) to post the article here. So that the discussion is here and not directed to another's website/ facebook page/ etc.

If you post the article here, posting a link to say "this is my source for the article I am posting here" that is ok. Indeed, as you have discovered, many people will want to see the source of the article.

I hope this clarifies things. If not, let the mod team know, so we can be clearer.

You reckon you have the key to put cancer in remission without any of the negative side effects of current therapies, yet you're getting in a strop because the mods here won't let you advertise your site?

"Sorry that you're dying of cancer, but I'm not going to do your homework for you"!?

Rochester have done a few studies on exercise and cancer that include Tai Chi. Could you at least give the name of the study?

Actually no, you didn't properly cite your resource using any standard of reference, and that's not homework for me, it's homework for anyone citing a reference (ie work YOU should have done, but did not). At least you quoted the conclusion and named the school, but it was still a poor citation by any standards.

It degrades your credibility to poorly quote or cite medical studies to support conclusions, and then expect the reader to search for your sources. If you'd have been submitting a APA style academic paper on the subjects we're discussing, for example, you'd have failed quite a few elements.

With respect to your original post, you plagiarized in several places, by copying and pasting conclusions from other materials, without any sourcing whatsoever. That would at best earn you an F, at worst mean you are expelled.

So, you're welcome for giving you a free lesson on academic standards, even if you snarkily decided it was supposed to be 'my homework'. Ironically, it seems you have homework of your own, but I'll also help get you started...APA or MLA, just pick one. Please.

It's even more fundamental than making claims. It was a poor citation, anybody can see that. Quotation marks and the name of a school don't cut it.

Even worse is to say it's our 'homework' to fill in the gaps. His 'homework' comment was meant to rile me up, but he's clearly a poor student if that's how he cites NIH studies, and responds to academic inquiry. The whole reason for formats like APA is to minimize the 'homework' a serious researcher has to do.

If you're going to prop up any peer reviewed material as a defense, you'd better source it like an adult. Maybe I'm being a snob about this, but I have good reason. Ironically, I'm pretty sure I'd already read this study because I like to read all the Tai Chi and Qi Gong studies on pubmed when I have the time. Compared to some of the mind numbing material there, Tai Chi/Qigong studies are usually very accessible to non-MDs, and interesting work to say the least.

Regardless, I have very little faith now that he can actually discuss the study/source he referenced. This is post doctoral work. If gets this upset about being asked to cite properly, he probably can't grasp the material.

This is common thing in today's Internet discussions, the "Cut and Paste" argument style. Very little insight or points produced by the poster, I might as well had simply read the link, and ignored his posts (had he graced us with the link....and not had to rely on me finishing my "homework").

    David Harrison,

"Sorry it appears that your brain tumor has affected your ability to read, I have never said that I had cancer. Why else would you say that 'you're dying of cancer on 09/19/2016 @ 2:44 AM?' Or could it be that you just made it up because you have no merit to your statements?"!?

Wow, you're a real class act, huh? I didn't say I had cancer, I was actually thinking of the 3 family and friends I currently have with cancer and the many people I've known who died of it. Still, chances are if I live long enough I'll have some form of cancer growing in me.

Must be all that refined Qi running around your body that makes you so kind, selfless and in tune with the universe

You're selling snake oil that can shorten people's lives by making people believe they don't need professional medical intervention. All to support your deluded ego trip that you have magical powers running through your body. Goodbye.
