We had a blind fighting system in our lineage. it was developed by a monk with cataracts. It contained a lot of ground work. where it is easier to index the limbs via touch. Sadly because my teachers teacher died at a relatively young age my teacher never had the opportunity to learn it. Hopefully the system is still out there somewhere in another lineage. Note: Head / neck locks with batons / walking sticks can be particularly dangerous to the training partner. It is easy to accidentally cause spinal injury or to hang the partner even when they are standing up with their feet on the ground. Exercise great care when practising.
I'm quite interested in your Blind Fighting Art, sadly it's it's gone. I do hope that you will meet other people who are using that art.
Yeah it's really easy to roll with your eyes closed once you know what you're doing. Almost no difference save for perhaps hand fighting in the guard.
