Sensei William 'Slim' Coyle Memorial Seminar 2012.

    To mark the 1st anniversary of the death of Sensei William 'Slim' Coyle the Makotokai are holding a memorial seminar on the 12th of May 2012, at the new dojo.

    Makotokai Aikido Riai
    211 New City Road
    Georges Cross
    Glasgow
    G4 9PA

    Times: 10am - 4pm (TBC)
    Fee: £25

    There will be 3 classes, each looking at Aikido Weapons and the application of Aikido principles in hand techniques.

    The website is currently being updated, but there is a map and contact details on there.

    The seminar is open to everyone and all arts.

    Hope to see some Mappers there!

    Im working in Belgium at the moment Chris. If Im back for May 12th, I'll be there. Failing that, have a blast :cool: and I will see you guys when Im next free at home.

    Im still working in Belgium.

    Have a blast to all who make it and best repsects to Slim's family and friends.

    Bill gave a great example of the spirit of MA over many, many years; and was also very funny and informative - to everyone, on this site.

    Sensei Coyle's Memorial Seminar was a great success.

    With 5 hours mat time, everyone who attended done brilliantly.

    Lots of good hard training just the way Koyo would have liked it.

    Will post some photos in the near future. :)
