What if the Bible had been written by women instead of men? That's the premise for this entertaining novel by Anita Diamont. This is the Biblical story of Rachel, Leah, Jacob et al, told from the point of view of the women.
The story is narrated by a woman named Dinah, who is briefly mentioned in the Bible.
The red tent is the womens tent, also known as the minstral tent. Women on their period are banished to the tent to separate them from the men. That's how it was in those days.
If you are a man I don't know if you will like the story or not. It is definitely feminine. There is some male bashing. But if you ever wondered how the Bible would be if the women had written it then this is for you.

Why did the guys get to write all the books anyway? That's why I enjoyed this book. A Bible story from the womens perspective.
