It with sadness I announce the death of T K Chiba Sensei 8th Dan Aikikai founder of Birankai International and first head of Aikikai of Great Britain (now British Aikido Federation) on 5th June 2015. RIP Sensei
RIP Kazuo Chiba. Truelly a remarkable Martial Artist. One of the greatest that I ever met. I did train with him on two occasions, and he was extraordinarily kind, courteous and polite to me, in spite of his sometimes unwarranted ferocious reputation. Deepest respects to his family, students and all Aikidokas.
