Hi, I'm a great fan of Ross Enamait, Javorek Complexes, etc. I stumbled upon these two workouts and I'd like to hear your opinion on them in terms of potential effectiveness, fun, flaws, etc. Real Fast Fat Loss (Cosgrove) Meltdown Training Enjoy the read and give your insights!!
Both have got some good 'take home' points, but I have slowly built a dislike of these exercise specific workouts. The new article is very similar to the ideas in G-Flux or Turbulence Training, but a lot more specific. The meltdown training is good at what it does, which seems to be the GH/lactic acid thing, but I would prefer a routine which targets more energy systems, especially since this type of program is more suited to a martial artist. What kind of routine are you currently following, including any other training?
I stick with Infinite Intensity and Never Gymless routines by Ross Enamait, mixed with HIIT, conditioning (jump rope, shadowboxe), complexes (Javorek or Cosgrove's).
That sounds plenty! Are you looking at these programs because you're looking at fat loss or just a change in program? If it's fat loss I'd look to your diet if that little lot isn't working.
Yeah you're right I should really take a look at my diet. It's not that I eat crap food, but maybe i'm not so tight either. I look at these programs because I like variety and I find fun to try something new from now and then. Now I'm giving a look at Turbolence training...
