Inconclusive evidence includes the DNA evidence. Some Native Americans have been found to have DNA typical in parts of Europe and the Middle East and is not Asiatic. However because it only appears in a limited number of Native Americans it is inconclusive. Although the blonde mummies of Peru certainly suggest a non Indian strain in MesoAmerica
Elephants. Critics of the BofM say it can't be true because no elephants lived in the America and elephants are described in the book. There are Indian sculptures from Honduras depicting elephants. Not Mammoths. The sculptures don't have the tusks or body type of a mammoth. They look more like African elephants. However, because no fossil record of elephants have been found in the Americas it is inconclusive.
Horses and chariots are described in the BofM and critics argue they didn't exist in MesoAmerica before the Conquistadors. We now now that to be false since horse fossils have been found in Mexico that predate the Conquistadors. The paleontology world is asking where did these horses come from? However they post date the BofM so can't be used as evidence for it. At this time the horse fossil records are inconclusive.
Wheeled toys, including chariot toys have been found in Inca and Maya tombs and if built toys couldn't they build full size models? So why no remnants of full size chariots today? Well if the wheels were made of wood they would rot over time, especially if left in moist rainforest soil. So inconclusive.

To be clear, there is abundant fossil records of prehistoric horses in the Americas but until recently, it was believed they died out many millenia ago and were extinct until being reintroduced by the Europeans.

Never have I seen anyone grasping so exceedingly hard in all directions for even the tiniest modicum of evidence to add the most minute validity to what is the end result of a very common myth building process peculiar to humans.

    :bang:

How much have you really studied the DNA make up Native Americans? Seriously.... :bang:
Care to cite your research on the Native American bit above? Which tribe/nation are you talking about?

Vampyregirl, your arguments are utter nonsense and you are citing conclusions without any evidence to support them. If you have proof of any of your claims other than the fairies told you. EVERYONE IS JUST GOING TO LAUGH AT YOU!!!!!

Would you mind answering a few questions for me. How did Joseph Smith know of paleo Hebrew? How did he get the Land of the Bountiful so spot on? How did he know ancient Indian cultures grew barley and used cement when noone else at the time did? How did he know Aboriginal Americans knew of the wheel when noone else at the time did? Why do the Moche murals depict light and dark skinned men fighting as described in the BofM?
We know from the Dead Sea scrolls that Land of Jerusalem, a term used several times in the BofM, was a term commonly used in ancient Israel. The Scrolls also tell similair stories of Jewish law and punishment for criminals and support the Divine Council. How could Joseph Smith have known of the scrolls which weren't discovered until 100 years after his death?
Never mind, i know what your answer will be. You are going to say its all a big coincidence or he was just an extremely lucky guesser. So i think your argument is utterly ridiculous and i laugh at you.

I just curious as to why God has such poor communications skills that he can't get his message across clearly and without confusion.

    I have a question:

Why did a white American guy need to write a new book when the bible had already been around for over 1000 years and contains the teachings of Jesus who, as the son of God, surely trumps Smith?

And does the book of Mormon trump the Bible? Because from what I know they have fairly different teachings...

Also, if God sent an angel to tell Smith to write it from these golden plates to disseminate evidence for Christ's true church, doesn't that mean God messed up and had to get a human to sort it out?

Firstly there the r1 gene found in the Algonquin people. Then there the mitochondrial DNA Haplogroup X, found in ancient samples from the Amazon Basin. haplogroup X is only found in smatterings of Europeans and some Israelis. Suggesting that some Aboriginal Americans were of European ancestry.

Because the Bible is not the complete testament of Christ. His message was distorted by men who twisted it to suit them.
You do know that the Divine Council is supported by the ancient Hebrew scriptures and by the Dead Sea scrolls right? Its not only written in the BofM.
You know God has often used prophets to preach his message. Thats throughout the Bible.

Neither of which is conclusive or a widely held view by the field (anthropology, archaeology, archaeogenetics). Neither of which even remotely supports what you're trying to string together and pass off. And neither of which is actually a citation of sources. Jeebus. :bang:

You still haven't answered my question about God's communications skills. I think it would be rather easy for the creator of the entire universe to get a bunch of mostly hairless apes to understand what it is he wants them to understand.

How about huge flaming letters in the sky? Or maybe God takes over all the TVs at the same time and gives us the message? Or how about some face to face time with each of us? I mean he is God.
