Self-defence against knife attacks: a full review | Self Defence - Krav Maga | London | Urban Fit & Fearless That is part 1--there are 3 parts (links to the others are at the bottom of that first one). I don't have any experience in this area, and little knowledge other than what I've read on this forum. That said, it seems like a fairly comprehensive article; I'm interested in what folks with experience in this area think of it?
Only read part 1 but I think it's a good article. Does a great job of highlighting the reality of knife attacks and analysing data on them. I wouldn't imagine it's new info for most people here but certainly the article achieves its aims and does so effectively. I liked it and will be reading parts 2 and 3 too. Thanks for linking.
Self-defence against knife attacks (3) | Self Defence - Krav Maga | London | Urban Fit & Fearless It's a pity the actual techniques shown by the school owners are terrible.
Thanks for sharing @Dead_pool. I'm looking forward to watching Self-defence against knife attacks Part 3
There are some good insights here - thanks for sharing My take out is that for SD we should be training a lot of - grab/push followed by stab/punch - ground work if you’ve been rushed and have fallen - distancing/positioning up front
