In mma and hopefully boxing at the end of the year. I was sort of hoping to get this thread filled with boxing clips, demos, technique stuff and generally anything boxing related.

There is potential for a wrestling thing comp too. I've been to three classes. Turns out my wrestling is pretty solid.
Where'd you pick that up ? Wrestling isn't exactly a staple in the U.K. or at least it used not be. You can actually find wrestling comps there now? Think yourself getting spread a bit thin trying to do serious, ammy-level boxing and wrestling at the same time?
There's a club in the city. I won't be doing it all at the same time and tbh I wouldn't train for wrestling like my life depended on it. I'd still try pretty damn hard though.
Yup. I been competing in that circuit for a while (hence the knee and hand injuries) although its mainly inter camps and stuff. It is a small world and everyone pretty much knows each other but its growing back. Ironically its the rise of MMA that has thrown wrestling back into general interest amongst MAists. Although a lot of Judo guys also compete in wrestling. Its like their "NoGi"
Chadderz - who are you kidding? Of course you will once you're in it - you won't be able to help it even if you try. That's why you are in the Competitor's Corner. Stick with boxing.
Well the club that wrestles is only on once a week and so far I wrestle as well as their best. It's just a maybe for now anyway
I have but one piece of advice that I tell my students before they compete: Make the nice people fall down.
