My partner does Jiu Jitsu and I'm looking to get him a gift. I wasn't going to get him any of the equipment because he's pretty kitted out.

I'm thikning of getting him thisJiu Jitsu design on a bag, simple and funny.
I was just wondering what kind of fun stuff you guys have received or bought themed around your fighting style?

Knives, swords, axes, spears, sharpening equipment...

Best martial arts related gift I ever received though was a gift certificate for a massage.

Maybe some martial art themed clothing? Talking about something more tailored to what he studies, not random tap out gear lol.

The best I've had was a themed cake but that does rely on being able to make one. If he trains regularly then honestly something like a proper massage is quite a good shout.

If he's training BJJ a good training bag is great, or another Gi is always welcome, or finger tape, or nogi stuff.

Some BJJ orientated causal clothing can be good, but it really depends on taste.

I definitely wouldnt buy him a tote bag.

LOL! OMG, that is so cool! My boxing school is talking about opening a wrestling class next month, and when it happens I am almost certainly going to join it, and -- oh, man, I need that turtle shirt! :D

I get that the trim colors are BJJ belt colors, but I want one in red trim because everyone knows Raphael is the best fighter. :D

These are amazing ideas. The massage one is such a good one, I'm often him masseuse but getting someone who actually knows what they're doing would be a treat.

He has plenty of knives but no axes, they're just hung up on the wall :p

There was a time when I thought the same, but ... Raph beat him.

And in the original live-action movie, it took, what, 300 Foot ninjas to take down Raphael? To his credit Leonardo wasn't dumb enough to get separated like that, so by the "hot head" measurement Leo wins, but still -- Raph is a bad ass. :D
