At the risk of being nit-picky, some of those look like a fireman's carry or a variation thereof. While only one leg is attacked, I would put it in a different class of throws/takedowns.
Pics 7 and 9? Yeah, they could end up that way. IMS, the text doesn't specify it that way, but, to be fair, often these old texts are a bit obtuse to modern readers. Peace favor your sword, Kirk
The first you have quoted is from Dick's Art of Wrestling and the following two from Petter's Wrestling. Peace favor your sword, Kirk
I currently have them loaded in my flickr photo stream. http://www.flickr.com/photos/22716822@N00/ It lists the relevant details. I'll eventually delete them to make way for others, but, for now, they reside there. Peace favor your sword, Kirk
Gotta love the classics. ^^ While the takedown itself is a bit different, the use of the head and shoulder to control the lower leg, on the last pic, reminded me of a low single leg we use in sub grappling class.
I thought that Parkyn's "Flying Horse" was closer to pic 6 or 8 in this list. Peace favor your sword, Kirk
