I thought it was just my computer having problems with duplicate postings, but I now see a lot of other members are having the same issue. My computer takes forever to post a message. And when it finally goes through, there are often two posts. I have cleaned up a few duplicates from other members too. And when deleting a post, it is really slow to do that too.
I have this happen occasionally. I have reported it in the past and others have no problem. Hopefully just an occasional glitch.
The trump thread is particularly bad. Don't get it on other threads. Could the size of the thread have something to do with it?
I don't think so, as I had an issue with the what are you listening to thread, while others told me it was fine.
I had that happen today too. My guess is that in the aftermath of the election and the current civil unrest the various agencies are crawling the net looking for nastiness. Slowdown is probably my fault. I'll be on the NSA's watch list because of where I work.
