i think social pressure has a lot to do with it. but also, i think that people are also addicted to the drug. i do like to drink. it's quite nice to have my 1-2 a month. i enjoy a nice wine, or beer, or whisky. but that's about it, 1-2. maybe if i'm lucky i'll get 2 in one night. woo hoo! it's really a great time to enjoy alcohol, at least in the states. tons of beers available, not the junk macro brews, fine examples of whisky's and wines. and we can get great european stuff too. this is my new fav. whisky. http://www.templetonrye.com/ and also i'm loving me some islay stuff... http://www.bruichladdich.com/
Yep. I like most stuff, love some. Vodka, gin, rum, tequila, cognac, pisco, wine, beer and whisky are my default go tos. I really enjoy finding the best pairing of drink/food/situation.
Big whiskey, bourbon and red wine drinker here... Not always in the same glass. I almost always drink responsibly these days though. Rarely get utterly bladdered as it effects my physical training and my MA.
Don't worry it happens to all of us every now and then, I'm sure your "training" partner understands. Oh but it hasn't happened to me of course err no not at all...
I only like expensive whiskey, however bourbon tastes great even if its cheap as hell, #firstworldproblems
i would disagree, cheap bourbon tastes like cheap bouron. instead of jack find something else. so one particular bourbon i like, that's very good but a pretty reasonable price point is **** creek. don't know if you get that over yonder. the company bulleit also has very fine bourbon AND rye whisky options--both at reasonable price points. both bourbon and rye whiskys have recently become fashionable lately here.
Bulleit, and **** creak are great, maybe its because we don't tend to get ultra cheap burbons over here. Try bells whiskey and everything tastes better in comparison!
