yeah its an awesome move, and its good to see someone use it effectively. After watchin the second clip again i just realised you hear (at the 3;42 mark) the guy whos filming say 'the other guy's wing chun, the one in the blue', straight after this the guy in the blue cops a masive front punch to the head. I thought id post this up as well, another from one of Jackie Chans movies, he must love working with CLF guys! [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UElFedQX_Oc"]YouTube[/ame] I have another CLF fight scene against Jackie from a different movie, but ill save that one for later, can't be posting them all up at once. Enjoy.
Here's a video of me. Not my best performance...one of my worst actually, due to a lack of training during the school year, but I competed anyways since I got the day off. Please don't laugh too hard. =) [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KE1NTHrsCLc"]Ping Kuen - Shung Ying Kung Fu Club - YouTube[/ame] And here's another video of me a while back. Dun mind the drumming, we weren't expecting to do drums but then someone asked us to, and our regular drummer wasn't there. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zjdGr-Guhs"]YouTube[/ame] Hope you enjoy
LOL @ the guy behind you with the sword. Nice form by the way. Some of the moves toward the end remind me of a Hung Kuen form I do called''Lau Gar Kuen'' w/ the butterfly palms and unicorn steps..... One critique if I may.... Try to put more intent behind the blows like you want to F em up.......That's it. Kudos for posting.

Thanks Bandit, yeah, that guy behind me...hehehe!! i didn't notice till after i watched the video! hahaha!! yeah, I know what you mean with puttin more intent on the blows, but i was waaaayyy too tired by the very end, and the beginning, i was actually trying to conserve energy so i can last the whole form!!!! hahaha! pathetic, i know!! hahahaha!! Me and my sihing actually "cut & paste" parts of the form so that I can do it in 1:20 and under....(cause I can't last longer than that and to prevent ppl from recording and copying the original form), and the original form, the ending moves are much smoother.
Just watched gwa_sau_chap's videos. Great forms! Wish I could get my forms to look like that. Check out those low horse stances. Yikes. In the process of checking out the vids, I just happened to see some San Da vids from some of our cousins in spain: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DxjA4fNbdZc"]YouTube[/ame] Australia vs Chile: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gpXHFzq8zRI"]YouTube[/ame] Hawaii vs china: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJ4_PfEEKuU"]YouTube[/ame] Aaaand Australia vs Spain: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_EI2Rm213b4"]YouTube[/ame] Looks like that youtube user actually has a LOT of San Da videos, so I won't bother positng the rest. There's a holiday coming up so maybe I'll just watch them all in one sitting.
nice vids beknar though... i thought the guys in the first vid sucked... they were so slow... and i didnt really see any power...
my old school doing their thing Vids of my old school doing their thing. San Shou and limited rules Pankration as well as some grappling. Some thai pad workouts too. Thanks to SifuBen for finding it! [ame]http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Mit-Ep124L0[/ame]
Check out this KO....sweet! Thanks to ling lingchat on youtube for coming thru with the goods. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J11TJvkLBjw"]YouTube[/ame]
Another video courtesy of linglingchat: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CDVdH3e79CQ"]YouTube[/ame] Someone once characterized CLF as a flurry of attacks, and this guy definitely embodies some of that. Very aggressive.
That was enjoyable to watch. He had a nice counter attack game going, and threw a lot off the back foot.
Our spanish buddies doing their thing Maybe we can get a dummy like this at our school: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9tRJeqLVyYQ"]Choy Lee Fut - Utilización del Muñeco de muelle - YouTube[/ame] I like the long heavy bag, but it doesn't quite have the springy quality that this one has.
I thought it's about time us CLF got another addition to this thread, and thankfully my Sigung has released another video, so here it is. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NORhm6S5r9o"]Choy Lat Fut Buck Sing Gwoon Part 5 - YouTube[/ame] The first couple of minutes is of Sigung when he came to Melbourne a few months ago, showing us some of his applications, check out his speed when demonstrating, and that's no even at his quickest! The rest of the video is of a National Kung Fu tournament. Some awesome bean choi's in this vid which i know Beknar will love. Check out the one at the 5:41 mark, and the guy who gets K.O'd by a bean choy at 8:54, quality stuff. Enjoy.
