She is absolutely my favorite female fighter. She is local, works (might be part owner) an MMA gym here in San Diego. I respect here being a military veteran. I respect her being openly lesbian. She has a cool personality from what I have seen in interviews. And one of our ex- instructors trains in her gym with her. I also dislike Tate ever since she pushed off of Zingano's face between rounds and whined after losing that fight. Who will actually win? I don't know. I think it is a good match up ,so it is hard to say.
Big fight for Carmouche. If she wins, she could be next in line for Rousey. If she loses, then she's pretty much destined for journeyman status.
Good assessment! Journeyman for sure if she loses. Not exactly next in line for Rousey (or McMann), but up there. The next in line to fight for the championship is supposed to be Cat Zingano vs the winner of Rousey/ McMann. But we still don't know if she will be ready in time. Physically or emotionally. Two knee surgeries and the death (rumored to be suicide) of her husband.
shift key broken anyways, i didnt know of tate pushing off her opponents head between rounds. that is not cool at all, but we all do stupid things in the heat of the moment. anyways, before i knew any women mma fighters, the first fight i saw was ronda vs carmouche and carmouche just gave me better vibes so i was rooting for her blindly. i like her style and i think she is awesome for being a soldier. but i like tate better , going for tate.
