35 it says but really I think I could take more. Unless they are vicious wee sods like my son and learned the Leichtenhauer guards before the alphabet. The Bear.
I had 29 but after I complained about not being allowed a sword I was informed ... you are only allowed to use your sword(s) in either your house when no-one else is around, or in partick burgh hall between 3 and 6pm on a sunday.... or in the dawn duellists place in edinburgh when you go there. any other time, swords are not allowed to be used, nor should they be pined for, nor their lack of use be complained about. Yours is not the only small child to be taught Liechtenhauer before he can read. My mate Zornhau's child (Kurtshau) actually took his father to task for not doing 'bish bash' properly (they use stiff foam swords at present). Z had to get Meyer out and show him the schrankhut guard and explain krumphau before small child would accept that it was a valid technique. Children today!
Yeah and we're waiting for another thought provoking post from you to direct our attention. So get a move on will ya. The Bear.
most productive thing I've done today is a print run homer race night race-card in colour for the bossess boss. thank the gods for map, an internet server thats unmonitored (well it is monitored but only in spanish as its in madrid) and a little silly distraction. ps: Louie, you are the sensible face of GCoD.
I see andy has had a go at the mensur as well. Well 'ard! I'd like some entrance music.... Andy Pandy's coming to freeplay La la la la la la Andy Pandy's not had a good day so better wear some decent padding La la la la la
Here are a few. Mostly throws, but you get the idea. They are done reasonably slowly so you can see what's going on. The first one uses the grip to throw the opponent, which is my favourite type of throw. The second one details a scissors lock near the end. For someone living in 1409, theese technical things are difficult Here's the picture again; this time uploaded; perhaps I get it right this time...
Great posture. I suggest wearing a cod piece around the house for the next couple of years. regards koyo
Triangular entry (advancement) is fundamental to eastern sword work. Looking at the weatern clips I can see that it is the same in these arts as well. The three timings you guys explained to me in the eastern western sword comparison thread advocate advancement. Being half the size of the bear I cannot afford to retreat  So advancement is my major principle. Below using sen timing to enter on an attack. regards koyo
Young David using side stepping. The alignment allows an attack to the head or wrist ot thrust to the face, throat or abdomen. regards koyo langenswert..really enjoy the clips...so similar.
