Yes - that plus LEO is a general position, so whilst they have broad exposure to situations that are confrontational in nature they are not de facto specialists in dealing with them. I had to be recognised as an expert for court purposes and state my qualifications to be considered as such. In order to be a UoF expert you have to take specific training courses and modules, and in my case my external training facilitated that too. In the UK many - if not all - SCT and associated roles are now filled by non-sworn staff so the instructors are not always LEO anyway
Though it is a bit of a red flag to me that she doesn't give any indication of her "law enforcement background"... presumably that means she may have had a volunteer or civilian role that doesn't require much training.
Yeah that is marketing hype - anytime it is unqualified with either position or area of expertise i am instantly on guard
