Native Spirit Native American flute music. I purchased this CD some years back for meditation purposes. It's also great to listen to anytime you want to relax and chill.
Native American Flute and Guitar (Sacred*Meditative*Earth ) - John August This is one of those "Lifescapes" CD's that Target used to always sell. Some very nice music. The background of Acoustic guitar with Flute melody makes for a nice combo.
My bonsai teacher insists on playing house music while we work. It's rubbed off on me and now every day I'm in my studio you can hear the sick beats of Capsule. Gotta wire to dat.
Rick Derringer - Guitars and Women In junior high when I heard "Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo", Derringer became my guitar hero. Got this album for Christmas when it came out( 1978). A few years back I had to get the CD for nostalgia purposes and I am glad I did as it still sounds good. Some good rock with a couple of power ballads. Still and always will be a Derringer fan.
Prince the gold experience, every now and then I forget just how talented he was and I like to remind myself what we lost. he was probably the greatest musician of his generation: singer dancer, writer and could play so many instruments it was just not fair, and by far the coolest musician there has been . Watch the below from 3mins in to see just how cool he was, and just how talented a guitarist he not was
Pink Floyd "Obscured by Clouds" album. At the risk of sounding stupid -- I just don't understand Pink Floyd. I've tried it a couple times before, and I never like it. I just don't understand the love for this band. The music is boring.
Dude was amazing, indeed. I only ever liked a few of his songs, but despite not being a fan, every now and then -- including a few days ago -- I would borrow a cd from the library and play in while driving. His skill was undeniable even to a non-fan like me. Astoundingly talented.
Kacey Musgraves - Same Trailer Different Park I saw her on Austin City Limits a while back And enjoyed her performance so I purchased this Cd. I like her style of country, good musicianship with quirky, funny lyrics. Good musicians in her band. A nice blend of twangy old school country, and newer pop country.
Neds Atomic Dustbin - God Fodder Some cool early 90's Alternative rock. Only band I can think of that features 1 guitar and 2 bass guitars. Grey cell green, Happy, Throwing Things, Kill your television.
Walk the Moon's "Walk the Moon" album. I like it. I approve. "Anna Sun" is now stuck in my head, and "Jenny" is very catchy, too. Also tried Lynard Skynard's "God and Guns." I've heard him on the radio here and there but I never actually listened to an entire album. I don't know, I just never have. But, wow, dude plays my kind of rock! That's what I like! Also tried a "Greatest Hits" of Jerry Lee Lewis. I knew I'd like this one because I love the Blues, and Lewis did not disappoint! Fantastic album for a Blues fan!
Neil Diamond - Classics The early Diamond hits. Cherry, Cherry, Kentucky Woman, Solitary Man, Shilo. One of the greatest voices and songwriters of our time.
New England - New England In 1979 I was a high school freshman and a Kiss fan. I saw this album in the store and noticed it was produced by Paul Stanley, that was reason enough to buy it. Played the crap out of it all summer long and the next few years. A couple of years ago I picked this up on Cd, still sounds good and brings back some good memories. BTW, these guys sound nothing like KISS, more of a mix of Styx, Supertramp, Queen.
Francisco Alatorre - Tropicana Magic My mom and step-dad used to spend winters in Cabo. This guitarist was a regular player at the local music venues. Mom got me this CD several years back. Some really nice instrumental music.
New Order - Substance 80's high energy dance music. This music is dated and timeless at the same time. Temptation, Blue Monday, Perfect Kiss, Thieves like us, Bizarre love triangle, True Faith.
New Radicals - Maybe you've been brainwashed too I was at a friends house and his girlfriend was playing this cd, back when it first came out. I remember thinking it sounded pretty damn good. Still does. You get what you give, Someday we'll know, I don't wanna die anymore, In need of a miracle.
