People still going to be saying the old acronym (but with the Internet meaning) when they watch this garbage at the Olympics. Some of the other changes made at this year's General Assembly meeting demonstrated just how desperate World TKD is to cling on to its Olympic inclusion: all competitors at the World Poomse (forms) Championships over 50 will be in the same age bracket, and there is now an XMA-style world forms championship on the beach.
On the bright side. The rule changes for this year's world championships have honed out some of my criticisms about the Olympics. 2 point body shots have increased frequency of effective hits to the body. There were also some measures which have slowed down stoppages, speeding up the game.
