  1. Mushroom

Mushroom De-powered to come back better than before.

Still plodding along Starcraft - Brood wars. Then onto StarCraft 2 (Laptop). Also downloaded Shadow Run: Hong Kong. It looks pretty.
Sometimes, I wish i had a high end PC for gaming.

Xbox - Watch Dogs. Essentially GTA but with mobile phone hacking.
    Phone - Angry birds

Have been taking Brigador: Up-Armoured Edition out for a spin. Pretty fun isometric view shoot-em-up style game, tad repetitive in gameplay (literally blowing stuff up and escaping) and very light in plot, but very skill-based and with some interesting lore among the unlockables you can get with the cash you get from missions, plus a lot of customization options for non-campaign gameplay (60+ vehicles and 40 weapons)

Still playing A Wolf Among Us. I just finished episode 1 ripping a guys arm off. (He started it... but everyone else in the room gave me such looks afterwards that I felt a little bad.)

I mis-spoke earlier when I called it a point-and-click adventure. It also has action scenes where you have to hit certain keys or click certain places in a short amount of time. If you fail it can affect how the story goes. And it has animation, so not just an image you click on. You walk around and can examine or interact with certain things, they always show up, you don't have to hunt hard. It's more about the choices you make--they affect future episodes (including whether certain characters are still alive or not), kind of like Life is Strange. (I never finished that... I should go back and do so.)

I'm still cracking in with Horizon: Zero Dawn. It is brilliant. I can't recommend it enough.

Got back into Rome 2 and This War of Mine again recently, both cracking fun. Got Stellaris, some combined 4x/grand stategy game apparently, the other day to try later and the latest Deus Ex is available for PS Plus download

I managed to get a few good online games on Star Wars Battlefront 2. For all the bad reviews it received and bad press it's still a well made and fun game. Follows the model of the other EA FPS games.
They removed the option for in game microtransactions, and the credit system seems well balanced now. A massive improvement on the first Star Wars BF game.

    Oh, where to start...

If you like these games and somehow managed not to notice them: Telltale Games!
Jurassic Park (yes, I liked that one! Go one, judge me! :p ), The Walking Dead, Tales from the Borderlands (loved the humor!), Game of Thrones (spoiler: Lot of dying ;) ), Batman (haven't played these yet, but they are downloaded), Back to the Future,...

    Hell, yeah.
I'm currently at roughly at 81,x% progress, and a playtime of 82,x hours

Sometimes I thought "It gets somehow boring". But then I remember: "Okay, stop hunting, gathering and destroying machines, and actually play a bit of the story" and everything is fine again ;)

I am a wuss though: Even when destroying machines I feel bad; don't let me get started on the crying of the last fox I shot :rolleyes:

I downloaded that one, when it was free with PS+.
Didn't come around to playing it yet though.
I really hope I'll like it.

I got the game but didn't play it so far due to the MP.
Not because of the real money (I don't like the concept at all, but I'm not going pro on videogames, so I live with it), but because as far as I know they dropped the more coop-like games, like droid run and cargo, which I prefer a million times over "Only goal: You kill me, I kill you".
I'm not got at solely competitive modes, but I do enjoy coop or at least coop-like modes, like the ones mentioned above.
Where you actually should be playing as a team.

Quite fancy a stab at Destiny 2. Anyone here played it?

Destiny 2 had a trail run in pS4 recently, I had a go at that: it has quite a nice story going on for single player, there was no multiplayer on the trial.
Fans of the the first one will get into it.

I read that due to gamers raising issue with in game micro transactions for games like destiny 2, star wars bf2, and over watch they dropped the game price, so you should be able to buy all those a lot cheaper at the moment. (50-60% off)

Heading towards the end of "Horizon: Zero Dawn".
I won't spoiler anything, do everyone can keep reading the next sentences.

For the moment I am mainly stuck with "wow", story-wise.
I thought I had an idea, where it was heading a while back, but it came differently.
Also nice videos are to come and the soundtrack keeps being awesome (in my opinion anyway).

I still wonder how they designed the end.
I might figure out in the next hour or couple of hours.

Right now I'm on my way to pick up an outfit.
(Wow, that sounds so dull and dumb :D )

Played Rimworld yesterday. Basically play a bunch of random generated colonists crash landed on a planet, try and survive, various hijinks ensue. Was really really good fun once I got the hang of it and the world seems massive. Uses the sort of Prison Architect engine/look which there seems to be a spat of games using at the moment.

Also dropping in and out of gamews of Rising Storm Vietnam, which is meant to be a more realistic multiplayer shooter. Its no ARMA, but more so than COD and Battlefield. Some very nice little details that make it fun for me though like proper animations for manually fixing bayonets, checking how much ammo is left in magazines etc. Also the fact that bullets actually come from the barrel rather than where the sights are aimed so if you can see over a rock but your barrel is pressed against it, it will actually hit the rock in this game. I'm acting like its just alright, but I've also sunk about 60 hours into it and I only get free time to play games once or twice a week and I've only had it a couple months sooooooo

I really like Rimworld. I have maybe 80 hours in it so far and still going strong.

I don't know if I've mentioned one of my favorite traditional roguelike games on this thread: Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup (DCSS)
It is free, online (various servers, see How to play Online « Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup if interested), and has tiles (or you can use ascii graphics if you are a massochist).
I don't know what it is about this particular game, but I've put over 1,150 hours into it since I started playing in 2010. (You can get tracking info like that from bots that sit in their IRC channel, if you play online.)
It is most of the stuff I like about roguelikes, condensed down to its essence. The game just flows really well for me. Even though I'm terrible at it (I've won 3 out of 3400 games... there are players that win 40%+ of their games. Anything under 1 out of 1000 is considered pretty bad. I am just way too reckless.)
The big points for me are:
    - Huge variety of playstyles & ways to build your character
    - The game is typically 'fair'--meaning that you don't generally find situations where "you just die, nothing you can do about it", outside of the very first dungeon level (where you can get unlucky & get swarmed & killed at lvl 1 with nothing you could have done). Generally if you die, you've made a tactical error or your wider strategy is deficient (e.g., didn't focus enough on offense and now you can't progress further because most things will kill you before you can do enough damage to kill it).
    - It is still actively developed. (The game has changed a lot over the past 8 years, though the core experience is still pretty much the same.) It is open source if you want to delve into the guts of how various things work.
    - Autoexplore is awesome (explore via tweakable algorithm, stopping when encountering anything interesting). Exploring manually is fine, but autoexplore is so convenient. (Maybe that is part of why I die so much--I autoexplore even in really dangerous places and may not be ideally positioned when I come across a group of enemies...)

My idea of finishing "Horizon" went out of the window, when I took a re-look at the hunting trials.
Now I want those darn blazing suns
I think I have eight so far; the more easy ones :D

Knee Rider: How is or was Horizon treating you?
I finished it a while back and think it was pretty neat!
Some more farming for resources (and by now remembering the controls lol) and I will try my luck on New Game+, ultra hard.
I wonder if I will start hating it then ;)

Yeah finished it a few weeks ago! Really enjoyed it.

I felt the story dropped off a little but overall an awesome experience. The combat/strategy is top notch.

Playing Hearts of Iron and, like all paradox games, enjoying myself while watching time speed by with no idea what I'm doing. Got plans to give a small go at Star Trek Online over the weekend too.

And sitting with so much hope and so much preparation for disappointment with Kingdom Come: Deliverance being released next week
