I visited @Dan Bian and @chatter box this morning for Tai Chi in the park. James kindly invited me along and once Sue found out I wasn't going to be let off the hook. James runs the Medway Tai Chi Society and teaches for free every Sunday morning (check the website for details). A thoroughly enjoyable session and everyone was really friendly. James really knows his subject matter, be it the health/relaxation side of the art, or the more martial applications. I promised them at the MAP Meet that I'd pay a visit and although their class classes with mine I'll be going back when I can. James teaches for free and if you can get to Medway in Kent on a Sunday morning you won't regret it. Sadly rules don't allow me to post links to their website, but click on @Dan Bian's name and you'll find the necessary links.
Thanks for the kind words, Simon It was great to see you again, and I'm glad you enjoyed the class and were able to take some stuff away from it You (and anyone else) are welcome to join us any time (as long as you can put up with @chatter box 's ramblings!)
What a lovely morning,we did seem to cover a fair bit, lovely to see simon again, and OI-!-i was on my best behaviour.....-not too much ranting today.lol
That, right there, is what MAP is all about. Go meet people, train with them, learn. Looks like you had fun, sorry I couldn't be there!
Anytime Mitch,-you will be very welcome. i feel no matter what style of martial arts people do-we can all learn something from each other.
That would have been great, but why am I beginning to think I am the lone American, on the wrong side of the Atlantic, on MAP
I have no idea why. Take heart. You're not even the only USA guy in this sub-forum. www.visitfingerlakes.com
