Hmm, I think it is in the possibility..that Either Bruce lee..is stuck in the bardo(aka dead) or he is reincarnated...then from there you have to find out who is that particular incarnation..and then question yourself..to see if im telling the truth, or at least minimally believing that I am..indeed in just a gust of wind can I punch an opponent..like in a hurricane kick, or Uppercut@
Saying a delay is imposed...is true..but might be slower..than just being objective and forcing your way in from the start..which is straight and direct necessarily..!!
I believe in reincarnation. But I find it interesting how many people who do espouse about it loudly and to everyone also believe they are always reincarnated forms of someone famous. Always someone famous- never the common person living an average life. And even IF reincarnated, it does not mean your skill carries over. Never ever heard any religion explain it working like that. What does that mean? It means even IF you were a reincarnation of Bruce Lee (which I do not believe for one second), it doesn't mean squat towards your martial skills in this life as BrendanCassidy.
This would be a great opportunity for a "No i'm Spartacus" moment.... No I am Bruce Lee! or even better...I'm Brian and so is my wife...(Monty Python gag for our American friends) Brendan, do you train? if not it seems Bruce's passion for martial arts did not carry over the veil. What indications have you had to imply you are the reincarnation of Bruce Lee?
So... how much of a nerd does it make me, when I say that is one of the answers, that makes most sense for me?
Does this have anything to do with Jeet Kune do? Also what is the tao te ching? I have googled it and its a philosphy text, my knowledge of chinese philsophy is limited, does it actually hold any relevance to Jeet Kune Do as how it is taught/practiced/learnt? I think i would make a better bruce lee impersonator, at least i can get the mouth to not match to what i am saying and the angry asian look right. For some reason i really want to watch, Druken Master again.
hahaha, this is exactly what came to my mind! So Bruce Lee reincarnates with the ultimate purpose - to post on internet forums and no longer train in martial arts?
hmmm, I cant think of a reason to not include philosophy in the training of martial arts....you have to talk to your peers etc...and some of the stuff you think of can be philosophy...of which Bruce was kind of a Philosopher... I do train everyday.. Sword... Bo Staff... Free style.. Boxing.. Wing Chun.. Aikido.. And I am heavily into mysticism..and Shoalin style arts... Which Bruce mostly discredited...but I think he was mistaken about this part...
But I still think Bruces Logic about the magic of martial arts still holds true to today.. If magic were real..wouldnt we have seen it already? i know I have seen magic a few times.. But its never been on film or anything... Than you get to question the miracles of the past of prophets and messiahs etc...Did Moses Really Part the red sea? maybe we are living in an age that is a bit ignorant about these type of topics.. Either way blending magic into martial arts..is wonderfull and we can talk about things like chi balls...and meta grounding techniques...
