Warrior Spirit Risen from Ashes
by Kinjiro Tsukasa
Ripped asunder, my heart rests in a shallow grave
Its shattered fragments borne away on tidal waves of cruel hypocrisy
Savaged, and left for dead by jackals having neither courage nor honor
The mantra 'Not Good Enough' still echoes in the distance
If you do not want my love, you will have to deal with my fists
As they grow and change, soft sweetness replaced by cold, fire-tried steel
The new echoing is the wailing of a gentle soul being deposed by a fierce warrior
Now you wish to make amends, but that which you seek no longer exists
The old voice has been stilled, and a battle cry has arisen to take its place
