How could you love me?

You love me, why, I don't know
I say I love you too, but I do nothing to show
Instead I bring you pain and hurt you constantly
Yet still when I need you, you're always there for me
Why do you love me so much? I can't seem to understand
There's no way I could love someone who continually steps on me like the sand
But you love me, inspite of the things I do
Even after all the things I've done to hurt you
Everyday I promise you that I'm going to do better
Then I turn around and put you down again like I never said it
You're so good to me, always making sure I have all I need
If you were'nt there for me, I don't even know where I would be
And you do it willngly, that's just what I can't understand
You could've left so long ago being that I treat you so bad
How can you continue to love me, when all I cause is agony
How could you love me through all that, and then choose to die for me?
