Dying Man
By Phillip Session
As I try to struggle from the alley, I stummble to the
ground
With blury vision I can see blood all around
I try to stand back up, but back on my face I fall
I never thought this would happen to me, no not at all
I try to yell for help, but no one seems to be around
It's just like I'm in a desserted town
My breath seems to be leaving me slowly, what the hell is going on
Look at me, dying, when I thought I was so strong
As I struggle to crawl forward, my life begins to flash before my eyes
Though I try to stay focused, my mind keeps rewinding
And then I see a light that seems blinding
I hear people searching, I hear loud sirens
They've come to rescue me, I say to my self
Why don't they hurry, I don't have much time left
I try to yell again, but I can't hear my voice
Why is this happening to me, help is so close
Am I going to die, do I have a choice
I crawl a little more, then I drop down dead in my tracks
Then I took what felt like my one last breath
Everything, now dark around me, while I try to comprehend what just happend
But I have no memory, am I dead, will I be going to hell or heaven
