Yes, i go to an MMA gym in Lincoln ran by Dan Wait.

We do a lot of ground work, the main focus of groundwork is BJJ, Dan is a certified BJJ instructor under the Gracies it's worth coming down here if you're interested.

the website, although not quite finished yet is:

    http://www.revolutionma.co.uk/

We also do a lot of stand-up as we train in MMA and not JUST BJJ.

Awesome! Are there seperate classes (i.e. Jits, greco, JKD, Standup, Full MMA) or are all the classes MMA ones?

At the moment, we have 2 classes a week, which are usually MMA, although we do PFS (A street fighting martial art, look up Paul Vunak).

However, soon the club is expanding and planning to get a new venue soon, where lots of different classes will be held.

The MMA classes are 2 hours and split up into two or three parts usually.

In the beginning we usually focus on striking, then the clinch/takedowns etc, and then finally the groundwork.

I'll send you a private message wit more info, but i also recommend calling the phone number on the website link I gave you.

Thanks Bruce Lee (Never thought I'd say that!)

I live about 40 mins from Lincoln so I could make the sessions. When do you train?. I tried the website but there's no schedule up mate.

I don’t want to hijack the thread and I don’t want to break the rules and advertise a club or event, so I hope I’m ok just putting this on.

There is a brand new class, just for BJJ GI, starting in Lincoln from 1st September 2009, then every Tuesday
it will be above Scream bar on the Brayford,
start time is 8pm, and there will also be a standup/Striking class before.
