10th Dan Hontai Tsubami Ryu Kakutojutsu

10th Degree Graduate Belligerant of Tenshu Kenpo

9th Dan Undoka Ryu Goshin Budo Nintaijutsu

4th Dan RyuKyu Shi Ryu Shuri-Do Kempo

That makes 62 Dan grades, obviously i'm not including the Level 25.

I think you should go out there and interview him and post the results on MAP, for the good of the Martial Arts community!

At least he says who taught him, not many people do that anymore...

Whether or not he just picked some names in the telephone directory is neither here nor there.

It takes about five years to get a dan grade. He has more than sixty. Which makes him how old? Hey maybe it's yoda. Beat yo ass I will?

Although assuming all the things you do are pretty similar, you could get your 5th dan in aiki-kuqi-hoki-koki-jutsu in 25 years or whatever, but then your 3rd dan in tai-kuqi-hoki-kokido will be dead easy and won't take another 15 years.

I wish I had the confidence to make up martial arts qualifications. I have refused all gradings and after 15 years MA training have no colourful pieces of paper to impress people on the internet with. All that training an all I can do with it is fight. Maybe I need to enrole in the dilitente martial arts hall of fame and bask in my mediocrity with grandose titles like soke, grandmaster or belligerant superbeing combat emperor. My latest investment in time will earn me the title of "cleared for freeplay" which really isn't going to impress anyone now is it.

    Sigh.

The master of hoki Koki died recently. They had a terrible time at his burial....They tried to put him in his coffin....they put his left foot in etc.
