If you don't have friends there to back you up then don't go. Someone will see you and tell their friend and their friend has a boyfriend whos girlfriend is cousins with one of the ****s who jumped you. go if you have a posse, don't go if you are a one man army.

Right with ya Yoda

However as I think you are about 16 or so Sambo Master (sorry if I am am wrong!) at that age I was a little too proud not to go so I would have gone pretty much with another or a group or perhaps on my own (as if you dont know anyone there you would not have been invited - get my point) still I would have gone for the simple point of view to draw an end to it.

Either it would have kicked off and got sorted win lose or draw and then it may well end. Or it would have been a lot of evils and nothing would have come from it.

Simply the group would have known I was not afraid and still gone or it would have ended or never know they may call it to an end. STILL THIS IS JUST MY VIEW and not advice.

I think with the benefit of a few more years to chill a bit that perhaps the best course is not to go to the bash.

Listen to the one that is concerned with your safety rather than your ego.

Why do you want to go to the party in the first place, she doesn't like you and you aren't going to get any!

Sambo Master, stay away. No party is worth the potential trouble that it may cause. If you have 10 friends, have your own party. A party is supposed to be fun, how can this sort of anxiety and tension make for a relaxing atmosphere? Do something else and really have a good time. Remember, living well is the best revenge.

Wise choice Sambo Master! Don't worry about being left out, it is only one night. If your friends care about you they will want you to be healthy and in one piece, and they'll probably choose your party!
