Hello. I have been trying to find a book that is written in the style of what you would normally get by teachers, etc in school explaining what is involved in the course, except for ninjutsu.

    Anyone able to help?

    Thanks.

Most dojos provide a training manual, once you join and start training.
I believe Richard Van Donk has a training manual for 10th Kyu (white belt) to Shodan (1st Dan) called the Shodan no Maki. Do a search for it.
    Cheers,
    Jon

Your Instructor will prob provide you with a syllabus for your training needs.

Strange. My teacher does not provide a syllabus. He goes by the Tenchijin in what he teaches for the most part. But we don't get anything to tell us what we need to learn.

    Just to clarify Grim.

Yep, my Instructor uses the TCJ for our training guide but not all Instructors do.

It would not be a good idea for the OP to take any or our 'syllabus' as the Instructor he trains under might not use the same one.

    :)
