So I am currently 15 and been doing TKD for 12 years and have pretty much mastered it. I got a few years till college, so I am looking to master another art. Maybe Ninjajitsu? or Aikido? Wing Chun also looks deadly.

    What would to guys recommend?

I'd only give that a 3/10. Try harder next time.

3/10 what? Is that a code or something. I don't understand.

i would never say that you mastered any martial art, but if you are looking to learn something new, wing chun would be awsome. I do wing chun and it is sweet. It is totally different then tkd though, but sweet.

Hmm I like it cause it seems like TKD just really fast. How is it different?

Perhaps Muay Thai, BJJ, or MMA?

What are your goals as a MA?

I don't know what any of those are. Is Mauy Thai like Thai Kickboxing?

Learn to fight is my goal.

Muay thai IS thai kickboxing... And what makes you think you've mastered TKD?

If you feel that your standup is good then, it seems to me, the next logical thing to work on would be ground fighting.

Muay Thai, as far as I know, is the same as Thai Kickboxing. (someone please correct me if I am wrong.)

    BJJ - Brazilian Jujitsu
    MMA - Mixed Martial Arts

Do a search and you can find a lot of info on MA.

I am not really interested in wrestling on the ground, kinda boring and thugish in my opinion. Sorry, but if I get taken down by a wrestler I just going to poke him the eyes or something. NO DEFENSE AGAINST THAT! I know some locks from my TKD training. Not my thing. They don't work so well.

I can do everything, and do it really good. Anyway, 4th Dan and above is a Master in TKD.

I dont think you quite understand the term "master".

Thats not really the point. Master in TKD is 4th dan or higher. So I am a master.

My question is what art should I master next.

  20. Go and tell your instructor what you've just told us in those words. Be sure to mention that "you can do everything" and "you've mastered TKD."

See what he says Mr. Ninja.
