Question Paul Vunak

Hello
There's a JKD group in my town under Mr. Paul Vunak's method.
What can be said about his JKD approach. What does this group focus on. I know...i'll have to stop in anyways to find out. But in the meantime...

Thanks

Pfs Jkd

Paul Vunak's JKDC is one of the most effective JKD street fighting method around. YOu should expect FMA training, Rapid Assault Tactics (his approach to trapping), and ground fighting. He trains the mass attacks, street fighting approach which includes using headbutts, elbows, knees and improvised weapons. I'm sure others will have further input. Check them out first and see if you like what this gathering offers AND see is the group of guys good people! GOOD LUCK!

I have never trained under paul, but I do have an hour long instructional video done by him and from that video I would say that he knows what he is doing, and has a solid approach to actual combat.

I have much of Vunak's material (and it's great) but I also spent a year in America training under the awesome Jack Mcvicker (Voo's Midwest Director). The stuff you will learn is great there - I loved every minute. Go to it, good luck and let us all know how you get on.

Have never studied directly under him but have been impressed by what I've seen of his materials. He's direct and to the point. You can pick up right off that he's keyed up.

Most of the stuff I have is based on his Knife Fighting methods.. the real deal not someone who talks rubbish...and a bit to do with Pejak Silat if I remember correctly.

Worth checking out.
